Pathways to Wellbeing - Our Crowdfunder Journey So Far

We launched our new fundraising campaign last week through Crowdfunder, in partnership with the Aviva Community Fund. The money raised from the campaign will go towards our new wellbeing events project: ‘Pathways to Wellbeing’.

As restrictions start to ease we would like to begin to organise at a local venue to encourage people to get out in a safe manner. For these events, we would like to use a different format than our ‘Cup of Friendship' events by focusing on specific themes for each event. These would include therapeutic gardening, picnics with music, etc. The aim of these events would be to help promote healthy eating on a budget, improved wellbeing and mental health.

Our Crowdfunder launched a week and a half ago and thank you to everyone who donated in that first week! On Monday Aviva employee giving opened meaning that employees from Aviva could donate £25 to a Crowdfunder of their choosing. We are pleased to say that quite a few of them have chosen our cause and as a result, they have helped us to get over halfway towards our target for the campaign!

If you’d like to read more about the project or to support the campaign, you can visit our crowdfunding page

We’ll be posting updates of our progress towards our target on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so please follow along with #PathwaystoWellbeing. Also, keep a lookout for our new donor shoutouts! One of our rewards for donating is a shoutout on our social media channels. So if you see one be sure to give them a ‘like’!
